JUMP ROPE FOR HEART: Our school will participate in this program the week of Feb. 3. You may continue to raise money through that week. If your child has raised $5, just return the form on the top corner for the duckie prize. Please remember that your child is able to raise money online, as well.
Birthday News: If your child wants to give out birthday party invitations at school, please make sure that there is one for everyone in the class. If not, they will not be allowed to pass them out at school. We encourage you to mail/email invitations if possible. Also, please remember that all cupcakes and cakes brought to school for birthdays must be store bought due to students with food allergies.

Language Arts: We are reading and writing about winter and snowmen. We’re learning new patterns for vowel sounds to help us in our reading and writing. I will finish assessing students for spelling of high frequency words this week.
Math: In Topic 5, we are working on addition facts to 20. We’re focusing first on memorizing doubles facts up to 10+10. Thank you for your assistance with math homework on Tuesdays and Thursdays!
